When you visit Jacqueline Suzanne’s Bistro, you’re in for an unexpected treat. Experience our selection of Pasta Dishes, including Butternut Ravioli with a Rich Brown Butter Sage Cream Sauce, Roasted Pepper Ravioli with tender pieces of Chicken, Linguine in a Zesty Tomato Sauce with Spicy Italian Sausage or Mixed Seafood Linguine (Shrimp, Salmon, Scallop and Mussels). As well, expect to find Oven Roasted “AAA” Alberta Prime Rib with authentic Yorkshire Pudding, Poached Sake Salmon with Wasabi Aioli and Caviar, Beef Tenderloin with Blue Cheese and Escargot, Filet Neptune or Tender Filet with a Rich Peppercorn Sauce. Suzanne Dale Tasker, has been passionate about good food and old world charm since she and her partner Robert, along with friend Jacqueline opened the doors in April of 2003. Our attention to detail will instantly relax you, while our attentive staff caters to your dining experience needs. With two levels of dining you are sure to find comfort on the main floor or in our cozy upper level, which is complete with wing back chairs, soft lighting and a corner fireplace.
Set in a 1912 heritage building, the Bistro has retained the original pressed tin fourteen foot ceilings and rich hardwood floors. If you close your eyes you may be taken back to days gone by and get a sense of what life was like, when dining was a celebration, where one took their time to engage in conversation while enjoying a glass of wine. Throughout the restaurant you will find a collection of beautiful artwork, bronze statues, lamps, candleholders, leather bottles, etc…and yes, you are absolutely able and encouraged to put in an offer on anything that catches your eye…some may think of it as clutter, however we tend to think of it as someone’s future treasure.
