When you visit Jacqueline Suzanne’s Bistro, you’re in for an unexpected treat. Experience our selection of Pasta Dishes, including Butternut Ravioli with a Rich Curry Cream and Spinach Sauce, Portabella Ravioli with a Mushroom Sauce and grated Parmesan or Mixed Seafood Linguine.  As well, expect to find  Oven Roasted AAA Alberta Prime Rib with authentic Yorkshire Pudding, Hand-cut Beef Tenderloin Filets, Scrumptious Sake Poached Salmon with Wasabi Aioli or any of our other mouthwatering and unforgettable dishes (see our complete menu).

Suzanne Dale Tasker, the  woman behind what comes out of the kitchen and what you see throughout the restaurant, has been passionate about good food and old world ambience since she and her friend Jacqueline opened the doors in April of 2003.  Our warmth and attention to detail will instantly relax you while our attentive staff caters to your dining experience needs.  With two levels of dining you are sure to find comfort on the main floor or in our cozy upper level, which is complete with wing back chairs and a corner fireplace.

Set in a heritage building built in 1912, the Bistro has retained the original pressed tin fourteen foot ceilings and rich hardwood floors. If you close your eyes you may be taken back to days gone by and get a sense of Calgarys’ original main street.  Throughout the restaurant you will find many pieces from days gone by…and yes, you are absolutely able to put in an offer to purchase a lamp, a piece of art, perhaps a statue or anything else that catches your eye…some may think it’s simply clutter, however we tend to think of it as someone elses treasure.

Jacqueline Suzanne’s Bistro is the perfect destination for your next Breakfast (open at 10AM-seven days a week),  Lunch (available until 4pm) or Evening Dinner (from 4pm).  Whether it’s an intimate gathering for two or a large group celebration we will cater to your needs, from personalized menus to custom table arrangements.

Sunday, February 14th…Come dine with us and enjoy our Fabulous Five Course Gourmet Sweetheart’s Dinner. 

Your experience begins with a touch of *Sparkling Wine while you settle in to relax in the old world ambience that Jacqueline Suzanne’s is known for. 

Your first course will offer you the option of Crab Bisque or Tomato Florentine Soup…Next choose your salad…Bistro Caesar Salad,  Marinated Portabella Salad or Mixed Seafood Salad. *(Substitutions can be made).

Once you have had time to enjoy some quiet conversation and sip your libation,  your Hors D’oeuvres Platter for Two will arrive, complete with a taste of four of our signature appetizer items. 

Your Entree selection will include a choice of the following:    Salmon Neptune,  poached in Garlic and White Wine, served with Mixed Seafood and topped with our own Classic Hollandaise,  Oven Roasted AAA Alberta Prime Rib with Yorkshire Pudding and Burgundy Au Jus, Chicken Supreme stuffed Greek Herbs, Feta and Kalamata Olives, Lobster Ravioli with Giant Prawns in a spicy Garlic Cream Sauce or AAA Beef Filet with Escargot in a Blue Cheese Cream Sauce.
